How do I GAIN weight? Best answer gets 10 points!?!


Question: I'm 5'2, 14 years old and 99lbs give or take.
I'm also a girl.

I'm mostly all muscel, always have been to be honest,

What is the healthiest way to gain weight?
In other words, how can I be physically healthy while trying to gain weight but NOT fat exactly?

I don't like the feeling when I'm around people and they randomly say, "God you're so skinny.."
I mean, sure I am but only if someone's heavier and they're comparing them to me..
I'm also the fastest on Both JV and Varsity for softball and basketball. I'm a freshman in HighSchool.

Please help!
And it doesn't help when my dad says, "You don't eat enough blah blah blah"

I eat 2 poptarts, a bowl of cerial, and a glass of milk in the mornings, I eat a snack or two before lunch at school and eat ALL my lunch, then go home eat practically another meal then at 8 eat a dinner and ice cream.
It goes away and I don't know how!

well, you are eating alot of the wrong foods! your body is getting use to all this excess dairy and milk.. which by the way is not very healthy.. you do not need all that milk.. it can lead to mucus membrane build up.. and more ear infections...

anyways, try eating alot more brown rice, brown bread whole wheat pasta, potatoes, natural oatmeal, peanut butter, fruits.. have alot of serverings of those

and also eat alot of chicken, beef, meats

and i suggest u workout doing heavy weights reps that u can do in range of 6 - 8..... about 4 times a week do it..

but stop eating all that dairy.. its not good for u

Nuts, cheese,milk, bananas and avocados are all healthy ways to gain weight. Nuts in particular are great cos they're VERY calorific and you don't feel like you're eating too much. Adding cheese to your meals is a great way to gain and there are very few meals which don't go with cheese (none in my opinion.)
Try to eat something healthy with carbs, protein and fats at least every couple of hours

Hmmm you must have a high metabolism. I'd just say eat healthy and keep up with the sports and you'll probably gain muscle/weight evenutally.

A good peice of advice... protein. Try going to your local health store like GMC or Vitamin Shoppe, etc. and pick up the weight gainer formula shake with protein. My older brother had this same issue and it worked for him. Give it a shot and good luck!

The healthy way to gain weight isnt eating alot of fat... i really wont ever recommend that to anyone... if you wanna gain the best kind of weight go for muscle. Muscle weighs way more then fat and its betetr to have it then fat...So try exercising and working out
