I have an eating disorder, and everytime I try to eat I wanna puke, what I do?!


Question: I'm 15 years old, and I dont eat I just hate eating, like i'll eat dinner, but I dont eat breakfast or lunch or anything through the day. I drink alot of water tho. I have been like this since middle of 14 years old. And, I have lost 16 pounds from not eating. When I do eat dinner, I dont eat very much of it. And I am confused I am 15 years old, a teenager! I should get hungry, like every other teen out there.

dont listen to these ppl girl!!! I was the same I am now 18 but I was just like you. I know what ur going through and I want to help.

You should eat only healthy food buy organic food so u know exactly what u are putting inside ur body. and try not to eat meat mostly raw fruits and veggies. You should grow a garden and its really fun eating what you have grown. Even a small herb garden so u can make really nice salad. for breakfast eat some fruit salad for lunch salad or tofu and dinner salad there is no reason to throw up healthy things that are wonderful for you and have NOTHING bad inside of them at all!! you will probably be the healthiest teen and have beautiful skin from all the great vitamins in raw fruits and veggies. You should bake yourself some whole wheat bread its really nice and so good for you. baking is also fun

Go get help from a counselor.

Go for therapy. It will help. It is dangerous not to go. Just please do it.

Its good that you admit you have a problem....maybe you should go see a nutritionist?

its part of being a teenager, you'll get past it

i would definately suggesting that u talk w/ ur doctor...but i would suggest laying off the water...it makes u think that ur are full...i mean dont stop drinking water all together but lay off so much of it! Even if u don't eat anymore than what ur r right now to begin w/ i would proportion what u r eating at night throughout the day so that u get into the habit of eating more than once...even if u dont feel like it...eventually try to add a little more to ur plate. good luck...food is soooo important! :)

My friend has the same problem. You need to get help. You need a very strong support system. She's recovering and I'm sure you will too.

This is gonna sound weird cumin from me and i know this is different but a bit ago and kinda now i get sort of the same thing. one of the things i tried was to remember your ultimate fave food that you can remember or if not try eating just a tiny ickle bit even if its just a grape or maybe a small peice of breab or a cracker or something ad build it up. if not see a professional that can help =D hope you fell beter =D x

you should talk to a counselor or something. but let me assure you, youre not totally abnormal.
youre wrong a lot of teens out there dont get hungry.
sometimes you just have to force yourself to eat. there are times where we just get lazy, but ya know what its life. sometimes i eat too much and other times i really dont feel like eating at all. if you are not purposely starving yourself maybe you just need to exercise more, and that could get you more motivated. but seeing a counselor would be a good idea.
