This is a difficult question to answer because it depends on the genetics of your family. Some people are slim (Example: 5' 6" female is usually around a good weight of 110 - 118 lbs., at age 12. However, it is approximately 12 years of age in many cases where children go into puberty so often children can either be on the thin side or be over-weight. Not to worry. After children go through the puberty stage they usually level out. If your parents or even a relative in the family is very thin or very heavy in weight, tiny boned or big boned then you can expect future children to inherite these traits.

If in doubt about any child being too thin or over-weight it is best to consult with your doctor.

if you are only 12 that's about a normal weight, you are going to loose some of that baby fat because you still have to grow

holy crap your tall for your age..... and that's why you weigh so much... you aren't fat don't worry...... i am 15 am 5 foot 3 and weigh 113 pounds..... and i am short and skinny so that's why i weigh less

you could loose about 10 pounds.

yes, you are ok. as long as you eat healthy which means your veggies and stuff. play sports.
the most important thing is how you feel, not what other people think, maybe your doctor has the right answer.

thats a decent weight because you're so tall. depending on your frame (small bones/medium bones/big bones) you should be around 130 - 170. i think 155 is great. remember, muscle weighs more than fat.

Normal weight = 18.5-24.9
Overweight = 25-29.9
