What is a good way for me to lose weight?!


Question: I'm almost 5'4 but 153 pounds im trying to slim down i am good in the moring and during school but once i get home from school i really want to binge from 3 to 4 30 or so. I always feels guilty because i try so hard but i fail. Im really workig hard so please how can i keep from binging and what are some fun ways for me to exercise thank you for making me healthyeir!

I would suggest that you start a running program fo your self.
i know your thiking not for me or its to hard but you can build you to longer runs.i ran cross country int eh fall with a kid that is 5'5" adn almost 220lbs and by the of the season he could run 6miles witout stoping and lost over 40lbs.You should talk to whoever coaches yourschools track adn or prefferably cross country team adn theyt could help you of if you need more help my email is a_thousand_times_betrayed@yahoo.com

Hello there! You need to first calculate what a healthy BMI is for you! That way you know what is a healthy acheivable weight for you. you do that by using a bmi calculator

Once you have done that You should try and find diffrent things to do from 3-4:30 so you avoid a routine of coming home and eating. Always go over to a friends house, join a school play, play a sport, do SOMETHING that gets you our of that routine. At your age just be active having fun with your friends and the pounds should come right off if your eating properly. Good luck!

There is no fail. DO or do NOT. If your mission is to slim down, that's all you need to know.

As far as your eating goes, don't try to eat less in general, just don't eat junk food. If you eat *a lot* of healthy food and excercise to burn the calories, you will lose weight. You shouldn't just eat less, not excercise, and expect to lose weight because that just slows down your metabolism. Junk food is bad because simple fats are readily stored before you have time to burn the calories, and simple sugars readily store the fat before you have time to burn the calories. (If you didn't know, sugar--whether simple or complex, also called carbohydrates--is what's responsible for giving you energy and storing fat. Not to say that you shouldn't consume carbohydrates, because you need energy.) For excercise, I would recommend half an hour to an hour of walking or jogging a day. Personally, I think up-beat music make excercise not so excercise-like. AND STAY AWAY FROM FAD DIETS AND EXCERCISE PROGRAMS! THEY DON'T WORK!
