lolz. they're the same weight.
i remember tricking my friends with this question many years ago. haha
They weigh the same: 100lbs.
...neither they both weigh 100 lbs. Obviously though there would be way more feathers than bricks.
100 pounds of feathers weigh 100 pounds
100 pounds of bricks weigh 100 pounds
so that tells me they weigh the same - 100 pounds! :)
They're equal! Only difference is that the 100 pounds of feathers will be a much larger amount
they're both the same... the volume is just different
That doesn't even make sense, they are both 100lbs!!
they weigh the same
Believe it or not, the 100 lbs of feathers weigh more. Why? Because of the air in between the feathers. Air has weight and 100 lbs of feathers will have much more air than 100 lbs of bricks. If you put them both on a scale, you would have less than 100 lbs of feathers than the scale reads because the weight of the air is included. If you weighed them in a vacume, then yes they would weigh the same.
they weigh the same, but you will lose a decade of your life to gather all those feathers
They're the same! I love this question! Someone inevitably says the bricks.

Edit: And for arguments sake, Mark K, I think it would be in a vacuum because your very cool answer would make me WRONG! (haha)
