Question: no..multivitamins contain proportionate amount of all type of vitamins and some minerals which cure your vitamin and mineral deficiency..they are not effective if you dont have deficiency as well as are toxic if some vitamin reaches in excess in body..
weight gaining pills are of 2 types-- authorized and unauthorized... all contains proteins, calcium etc. but unauthorized ones also contains steroids (testosterone causes most ill effects and it is the one which could be given orally, so it is present in such pills)..
