You get the same workout if you space it out as if you did it all at once.

However, the best exercise to getting a six pack is actually running. You can only get a six pack by getting your body fat percentage below 10%, and the best way to do that is by doing lots of cardio. Just make sure to do your cardio AFTER your weights/resistance workout.
