How many carbs and grams of fat can u consume perday if your on a diet?!

You should worry more about your calorie intake in relationship to your current weight. 1200-1600 calories a day is typical diet amount based on someone who is around my height of 5'5. It depends on your exercise too. You should use the food pyramid otherwise. Two servings of grain (bread, pasta, rice) per day, 2-3 servings of lean meats and protein, and 5-6 servings veggies and fruits (more veggies than fruit). 3 servings of dairy. 1 serving of fat. Counting grams is so tedious. Good luck!

It will vary with height/weight/sex, but a good rule, if you're trying to loose weight, is to shoot for between 130 to 150 grams of carbs and 30 to 40 grams of fat, none of it trans fat, per day. Go heavy on your protein though, especially if you are exercising, which I hope you are.
Grams of daily protein should equal your bodyweight if you are just dieting; bodyweight x 1.25 if you are adding cardio (walking, swimming, biking, treadmill, etc) and bodyweight x 1.5 if you are doing strenght training.
If you "slip" on your diet, try and do it with extra protein, not carbs!
