How many tspns in a regular spoon?!

Question: Hi,

I bought this medicine that requires one teaspoon to put in a drink... all I have is a regular eating spoon. How many spoonfulls ( or how much in a spoonful) should I take for these to equal out?

i'm pretty sure that a regular spoon is about a teaspoon. that's what my mom always used when i was growing up.
