What is the best time of day to take a multi-vitamin?!

Question: Or does it even matter?

Answers: Or does it even matter?

first thing in the morning like with breakfast.

First thing in the Morning with Breakfast.

in the morning after breakfast

I agree with the previous post. First thing in the morning with food.

The stomach is empty at this time after a night's sleep, and the body is primed to absorb vitamins.

I've found that if I take them in the morning I seem to have a bit more energy during the day (that could be in my imagination though). I really don't know if it really matters. Nutrients are nutrients. If you take them at night, your body has to metabolize them and use them while you sleep. If you're awake - the body has to absorb and metabolize the vitamin while you're awake.

I don't know if it matters, but I take mine first thing in the morning. It usually has B vitamins in it, which gives you energy, so I figure it's best to do it early. Plus it may keep you awake if you take it too late.

The best time to take them is in the morning of the day you are not at the gym etc.

but when you are active on a day example: you go to the gym then take them AFTER your workout...when your body has a workout and everything you take and eat get sucked up like crazy and all the multi-vitamins will get to your system quicker and better. then 30 minutes after taking it eat a lean protein complex carb meal.

hope it helps.
all the best.

Actually best time to take them is just before bed. That way the vitamins stay in your system for 8 hours or so instead of peeing them out right away. Good luck!
