Do short bursts of exercise help at all?!


Question: I sit at a desk all day. I would like to sneak in a few mins of exercise per day but will it really help? I wouldnt be able to get my heart rate up for any sustained amount of time.

Do you have any suggestions, has to be something I can do in my office without any special equipment.

At east you're doing something. Make it an habit, as small as it is and work up from there. If they're short burst maybe they won't do as much to notice the difference but take it as a way to build the habit,

everything you do adds up

If you really need to exercise, you can do it before or after work surely! Otherwise, try doing calf rases for a long time, it'll get tiring eventually.
