Eating Albacore Tuna: Is it bad?!

Question: I am 25 years old and I work out as well. I find that TUNA has high levels of protein. I eat CALLIPO tuna whch is from Italy and the tuna is in Olve Oil. It is my favourite kind of tuna to eat...

It is also albacore. Recently, I have been hearing bad things about it. Can someone let me know why I should be worried. I eat (on average) 160g can(with oil drained) about 3-4 times a week.

I hope it won't kill me :P

No it will not kill you. Tuna may have more mercury in it than is usually recommended but eating it 1-2 times a week is not unhealthy. Pregnant woman should not eat canned tuna that often do to the higher mercury levels. Rumor has it that Albacore is safer than other tuna but more Porpoises are killed during the fishing processes used for albacore,

It tastes good but has too much since it eats lots of fish. Smaller fish eat less fish. See site below under Ninja Warrior diet to see this plus link to find all the mercury in different fish. Also it tells how you don't need so much protein. Beans and nuts have lots of protein.
