Working out at the Gym...?!


Question: So today was My first day... How does working out 30 minutes on the treadmill at a 3 and on an elliptical machine for 15 minutes sound? Should I be working out longer (this was my very 1st day). I have asked similar questions like this before, but still looking for tips and advice. I would like to see results in a little over a month...and I am not expecting a whole lot EVEN in a month...just some results. How long should I keep on the treadmill and the elliptical? What do I need to use to tone up my arms and my stomach?

You are off to a great start. Remember that it takes 20 mintues of cardio to even begin to burn fat. So your workouts should be as long as twice that to see good results.

If you are just starting off, do the tremil and walk alot so your body get use to it. Ease your way in.

Work harder not longer.

Rule of thumb, if you can read a magazine or talk on a cell phone you aren
