I hate when that happens!

But don't panic; you're probably just retaining water weight! cut your carbs (don't eat bread or sweets or cereal) and eat more greens/fibrous veggies for the next couple of days and drink tons of water to flush it out.

if the foods you ate were high in sodium that can also make your body retain water, and the only fix is to drink more water and stay well-hydrated.

If you work out to sweat it out, make sure you drink lots of water. Remember, you need to eat 3500 extra calories to actually gain one pound, so... unless you ate 14,000 calories yesterday, you should be okay.

You will need to do lots of exercise! You need to burn about 14,000 calories! Good luck ;)

I doubt you put on 4lbs in one day. If you weigh your self everyday, you will find that one day it seems like you lost 4 lbs., then the next it seems like you gained it back. It could have alot to do with water gain. Your best bet is to only weight yourself every few days or even once a week to get true readings. But, start doing some good cardio work. Eat healthy. It's ok to eat healthy 6 days a week and then pick one day a week to eat what ever you want. One day won't really do any damage, as long as you get right back on track again.
