Is there a faster way to lose weight than atkins?!


Question: Ok, i know atkins isnt healty...but i'm not either. I am 21 years old, 5'2 and 200 pounds. I cannot afford to go on like this, and I am willing to try ANYTHING, healthy or not to shed the weight. Is there anything that helps you drop weight fast? Note- I am not too good with sticking to diets, so it cant be too hard!

i just started the EXTREME fat smash diet. it says you can lose the weight quickly and safely, and it changes your health forever with the maintenence plan.

atkins + Excersice

go wheat free. No pasta, pizza, bread and so on. And no food after 7 p.m.

The Atkins diet stinks. That man died of heart disease. The best way to lose weight is to stick to 1200 calories a day, and exercise. You don't have to knock yourself out either. Just a simple brisk walk of 30 minutes will help get you on the right track. Once you drop some weight, you'll be able to increase the intensity. Everyone wants to lose weight FAST...but the fact is if you lose it the right way, and slowly, you'll be less likely to gain it back.

Here are some tips...
Start a food journal and write down all that you eat. It will teach you how many calories are in what, and where you're making mistakes.

Always eat breakfast. I think egg beaters, or 1 whole egg, with 2 whites is great. It keeps you feeling full, and you won't be scarfing down everything in sight at lunchtime.

Eat 3 small meals a day, plus 2 snacks. Meals should be about 300-400 calories each, and snacks 100.

Drink water. Stay away from soda, and juice. Better to eat a piece of fruit.

Eat whole grains instead of white..like brown rice, whole grain pasta. If you eat a potato, top it with low fat yogurt..no butter. Bread should be whole wheat, rye, or pumpernickel...no white.

Eat low fat dairy..(3 servings daily)like non/low fat yogurt, skim milk, cottage cheese...they help you to lose weight faster.

Don't eat after 7 pm...it won't be burned, and stored as fat.

No one is good at sticking to eating plans that leave you feeling hungry, grumpy, and deprived...which the Atkins diet will do. Your body needs whole grains and fiber in order to function properly.

I know it is frustrating when weight lose is slow. If you do something too drastic, you will have more problems than you really want. You can loose 5 lbs per week by cutting your calories and walking every day. Sure, you are not healthy right now, but you will look better & feel like enjoying your weight lose much more if you get in shape the healthy way.
