I Heard Of Strength Training and Body Building, but what exactly is Strengh Trai!


Question: I'm 13 years old, I wanna be real strong and muscular, like that my 6 pack shows out totally and that my biceps become pretty big and strong. That's because I do body- building all the time!!! But I seriously don't want to be a midget!!! So I decide I might wanna try Strength Training, I heard that your muscles aren't going to become that big, but you will get extremely strong. But before I start training, I want to know exactly want is Strength Training!!! LOL!!! Does it require Protein Powders? What does it do to your body instead? Will you loose all your muscles?

Anytime you work your muscles,you will need a little extra protein to feed them.Strength training is lifting various weights in the 8 to 10 rep range.(It should be heavy enough that your muscle cant lift any more than 8 to 10 times) Body building is an extreme commitment and way too advanced for a 13 year old.I love lifting weights and workout every other day.
Your food intake is extremely important and vitamin supplements are a good idea.
