I agree with the others...approximately 2.2 pounds equals one kilogram.
If you understand kg then use grams and kilo grams. If you understand lbs use lbs and ounces don't mix them up.
If you are asking for homework then there are roughly 25 ounces in a gram and 16 ounces make a lb so 400 grams in pound or 2.2 lbs = kilo-gram. I might have got that the wrong way round but if it's 25.5 grams that means the calculation is 200 grams out that's why you don't mix them.
