I'm confused about this spinach count?!
Question: I bought a big bag of spinach today and it says for 1 1/2 cups there are 60 calories...but I went to the calorie counting sites and they all say 1 cup of spinach is only 7 calories....ALL of them say that, now the bag does not specify whether its cooked or raw..it just says 60 calories. So what do I believe?

Believe the sites. There's nowhere neer 60 calories in that much spinach. It's deffinately only about 7.
Is there a receipe on the bag cos it could be the calories in that? I did that with mushrooms once. I read it and started freaking out that I'd had like 300 calories in a few mushrooms. Turned out that was if they were fried in breadcrumbs!
Let's just spit the difference and say it contains about 25 calories.
why would anyone care abotu counting spinach calories..that is plain foolish
