How many fat people like me LOVE your scale?!

Question: I have lost 100 pounds by weighing myself religiously. In fact, for a few months when I let a friend use my scale, I had to fight tooth and nail to keep the weight off. Every other time I have even gone a week or two without weighing myself I simply cannot stay on task. How many other extremely fat people like me (more than 100 to go) also feel that your scale is your best friend?

Thanks for your attention to this question.

well, when i was losing weight i *kinda* liked it. but i would restrict myself to only weighing myself every other week or so... that way,i could see significant changes every time i did it, thus making me very happy!! i wouldn't have had withdrawals, though haha

hmmmm no.... i dont really care what people think of me, im not that fat but im a lil chubby..... but if u care that much u should go to high school...

My weight loss goals aren't so much based on the scale. I have a dress size I am shooting for, and little things like fitting in the theater seats better. I'm a big gal both by weight and by height. I will always big big, and I'm ok with that, but I'd like to be less big. Standing at 5'10" with a sturdy frame I'd be happy at 240 lbs (maybe less), which would put me in about a pant size 18. This is still considered plus size, but with my build I would look funny any smaller.

I'm not saying I don't weigh myself - and I mentioned a "goal weight" above, but that's not my primary motivation.

I am glad it works for you, though. Whatever works. I just hope that you are losing weight in a healthy way.

approx. 90%

I weigh myself once every couple weeks just for fun, and I don't care what I end up weighing as long as my width is less than my height. I weigh 265 lbs last I checked.

i think that the weight of the person is not important
