do REALLY wide pushups... they're harder... or do chair pushups... put two chairs like a foot wider than shoulder width apart.. a hand on each chair... then do the pushup in between the chairs

Look up diamond push ups.

Do some weight training, after a certain point every exercise will .become easier. That means you need to step it up a notch

start doing pullups and go hit the weights. you need to start bench pressing

maybe start using a weight machine or crunches

maybe ur not doing them correctly?? try doing them REALLY slow, see if that makes a difference....or try a diff exercise? idk good luck with that!

you need more weight on your arms. go to a gym..aaand make sure you balance out your body because it might look kinda wierd if you have really buff arms but scrawny legs...

this means ur getting stronger. but if u really want to get stronger, then just jog some laps and do some situps.

use weights

If you want to get bigger, you need to bench press weights, not just do pushups. There's a limit to the resistance your own body weight can generate, and increasing resistance is the key to building bulk.

try doing it with 1 hand, and then the other.

make triangles with your hands like keep them together, its harder, and also try to make your hands fists and do it

Plant your hands under your belly and do some that way, then try some with your hands planted further out than your shoulders.
You're only working a small portion of your chest if you just do push ups. You should be using free-weights as well.

I don't know how old you are, but if you really want to find out how to get ripped quick, you can look on t-nation.com

Try one handed push ups. Free hand on your hip. Don't do it over a hard surface. If you should drop, a carpet isn't going to dent your brow like concrete would.

Diamond pushups, u form a diamond with ur thumbs and index fingers.

You can also raise your feet up higher like onto some steps or a chair. As long as what you push up from is lower than your feet.

here is a site that i think can help u.

hope that helps,

l8er dude.

Well man, your short, so push-up aren't as hard for you as average people. However, the perfect push-up is no joke, and wal-mart sells them for $20. My max on push-ups is around 60 (to military standards) with the perfect push up I feel smoked around 15 or 20

try putting a resistance cable around your back and hold the ends of it so it's tight (you'll have to choke up)
when you do a push up you should be feeling resistance
also try diamond push ups
or putting your feet on a chair, and your hands on the ground,
or somehow get some dumbbell on your back or something
but that doesn't seem safe...but it's the thought that counts : )
then theres weight vests which must be safer i imagine
and "clap" push ups

Keep doing the push ups but at the gym try putting your feet up on a bench so they are just a bit over your head. This will work a different area of your pecs and cause them to get bigger. Do sets of 15-20 and you will feel the burn. If you really want a challenge then put a 25lb plate on your back and do the same thing. You'll be hurting.

Move on to bench presses, or machines to get more resistance.

Do a weight that lets you do between 6-10. Do one set for warmup then 3 working sets. Work through regular bench presses, incline presses, and decline presses.

Have someone spot you.

`OK THE NUMBER ONE THING TO DO IS GET A BREAST PUMPER WHICH U PULL ON BOTH SIDES TO BOOST UR BREAST IT WORRKS SOOO WELL LOL .>>OMG IT GIVEZ U INCREDIBLE RESULTS

Change it up. You can do normal, wide arm, and close hand pushups. the suggestion of doing chair pushups is good too. It will let you go lower. you can also put your feet up. With your feet higher than your arms, you will work your upper chest and be pushing more weight. But the pushup is one of the best exercises ever. The pullup is good too, but not for your pecs. It will make for good balance.

well its probably because some people have proved your body adapts to work out once you've Benn doing it for more than 7 months

try taking protein shakes and then start bench pressing, don't get carried away with the protein shakes either. also only do this if you are 17-18 years or older.
