Where did this cellulite come from!!!!!!?!

Question: I used to work out almost everyday, but life had stopped me for the past couple of years. It came to the point of not working out at all. I did gain weight, but why did my thighs turn to cottage cheese? Please help me. It makes me cry to look at my thighs. They used to be powerhouses and now they're cottage cheese! Please help me. If I start working out again, will they go away?

This happened to me after i had my children and was not able to go to gym etc. I have been doing exercise now for a few years and it is definately improving but it is a hard slow process. i think running is good for it but this hurts my knees. i tried all the creams etc but they were useless. body pump helped enormously.
Good luck, i understand how upsetting it is. i hide my bits from my husband.

Once you get cellulite it's hard to make it go away. It has a lot to do with heredity and circulation. If you begin to concentrate on overall body fitness you will probably see a reduction in the problem although it may never go completely away.

hey, i have it too and im no where near overweight. i eat very healthyly and i excersise a lot. unfortunately its often hireditary. yes its partly fat but cellulite is also partly connective tissue which no amount of dieting and excersise will get rid of. underweight people can even have it.
im sorry to break the bad news to you, but im sure its not as bad as you think. 90% of us have it. im sure you could be a lot worse :)
