Fat models=repulsive, don't you think??!
Question: May I ask why people think fat models are like a good thing or whatever because clothing just makes them look like...how can I put this nicely, bloated pigs. I mean no form of clothing looks good on a girl whose over at least 120 pounds, seriously!! Personally, fat girls, are just not meant to be models!! Modeling is for skinny girls who actually look good is clothes! Don;'t you agree?

well sorry to break it too you, but most people out there weight more than 120, so the buyers are getting the wrong idea about how they will look in their clothes if pencil thin girls wear them in all the ads and on the runway.
second, there are a lot of beautiful girls who are heavier. I always though Queen Lathifah was a beautiful woman, no matter what she weighs.
I think anyone under the weight of 120 who is more than 5'3" looks like they are on deaths door. Malnutrition, eating disorders and bones are not attractive. And obviously you don't know what 120 looks like or you wouldn't say that. Its so sad you feel so bad about your own self image that anyone who is normal and healthy looks bad to you. I hope you find healing soon.

No, I don't agree. There are many people that weigh more than 120 pounds that are still fit. And for those of us who are "fat" and "bloated pigs", we do wear clothes, too, and would you want us to wear the clothes the skinny models are wearing, with our parts sticking out all over? We deserve to have models showing us clothes that look good on us too. I hope you get over yourself!

No, I don't agree. There are some beautiful full figured women in this world and some women that are "fat slobs". I sure don't think models are any prettier than the average woman. Models to me all look anorexic or bolemic and too skinny such as Paris Hilton. There is nothing beautiful about skin hanging on a skeleton. I was a beautiful (on the outside) healthy 135 pound woman after having children and am still beautiful at 170 pounds after quitting smoking.

Why dont you walk up to every women in the street who is over 120lbs and tell them that, dont hide behind a computer. FYI if you think those models weigh anything close to 120 you are truly crazy. that depends what you mean by 'fat'. Take someone like Nigella Lawson or Sophie Dahl (when she was a plus size model) there not fat just curvy. Some clothes actually look better on a woman with a fuller figure.

Also, the average size of women in America is a 14. So those size 0 and 2 models are not even what normal women look like. Their eating habits are extremely unhealthy and they are portraying horrible habits onto the children of this country.

erm, you thick little girl, most people who run the fashion industry weigh over 120lbs. not only that but you're forgetting that most Super Models who are 5feet 10 inches tall and above, ie the big victoria secrets models weigh more than 120lbs, not only that but so do a lot of female celebrities and some of the very famous and influential ones as well.

i peronally think that this is a very very rude question and is offensive to alot of people out there. I also think that you have to realize that a persons weight doesnt garantee their shape. somebody can weigh the same weight as another and look completely different. i am a size 0-1/2 and i am 5 feet and 6 inches and i weigh 123. so just because someone is over 120 pounds doesnt make them fat. they could weigh more because they are tall like me. I am also sayign that everybody is different. of course its bad to be unhealthy but putting others down cuz of their body isnt acceptable.
well, I agree that fat models are a waste of time (i.e. no one wants to look at that) but your primary problem (besides being a rude little girl) is your assumption of what constitutes fat. Using BMI is bad enough but using purely weight (with no height listed) is just plain dumb. What you should be focusing on is body fat% and overall tone. Tone sexy females with relatively low body fat and curves would make the hottest models. Tyra Banks was one of the hottest models ever and she weighed over 120. Also, I know plenty of hot females over 120 that would make great models that guys would go ga-ga over (in or out of clothes :-)
yer i do agree. a models job is to be skinny so they look like coat hangers...thats the whole point! they dont look like coat hangers when there not skinny!
