go to the gym 5-6 days a week and take that day off to rest and recoup the muscles. i understand that you want to target legs abs and arms, but there is no such thing as spot reducing (losing fat in certain areas), but you can build some muscle in those areas. other than that doing cardio and a reduced cal diet will make you lose fat. like you said this is a very short time frame, you will definitely see some difference if you're strict on yourself and highly motivated, but if you're going on vacation i guess that's motivation enough. for your legs i suggest lunges and squats, use proper form and full range of motion and always stretch to make your muscles look lean. for arms i suggest pushups and pullups (if you can't do more than 12 pullups use the lat tower), and for abs i suggest swiss ball crunches or if you have an ab wheel to use that works amazing for your arms and abs. remember, cardio and reduced cal diet is the main thing for losing fat, instead of spot reduction, try building lean and long muscle in the areas you want to target, and always stretch before and after your workout. good luck in getting to your goal and have a great time on your vacation

sorry i forgot to add that everybody's body reacts differently to what they do to it. if you arent/weren't that active before, and you start on an exercise and diet plan, you will, WILL see results fairly quickly, but as you continue on it will get harder and harder to see more results because your body needs to be pushed harder and harder. so if you are already active and exercise often, push yourself harder..if not, then start up and you'll see a difference.

I'm telling you, a week and a half will make no difference in how you look physically. You might feel better, but you won't look better. I'd suggest exercising your whole body, not just abs or arms. There's lots of sites that have efficient workout programs. On the diet side, try to eat more protein and less foods with lost of sugar or sodium/salt. Otherwise, I wouldn't recommend a drastic change in your diet in such a short time. As I said, getting fit/looking good isn't something that will come after a few workouts. It's something that takes weeks (more than 4) or months or even years for most people.
