Is it ok to be a fat bride?!

Question: well lets see first off let me start by saying almost all my life i have been what you would be classified as over weight. i do not think i am obese i am 5'9 and i weigh 215 pounds so to some and most medical books this is obese....but i can say that i can run as fast if not faster then most peopel who weigh less than i, i go to the gym at least 4 nights a week and excersise for at least an hour. I have had blood work done and everything has come back healthy good blood pressure good cholestrol no diabetes...so i guess you could say i am a healthy fat girl :) but anways i am getting married in a month and i have struggled so much in the past with trying to loss weight and wanting to be "that girl" and to no aval i have only lost maybe 10lbs so i will be "fat" for my wedding...should i be ok with this..i mean there is not a lot i can do and even if i did i wouldnt loss it by the wedding. Has anyone else been a fat or overweight bride? If so how did you deal? Please let me know.

i know EXACTLY where you are coming from. you are doing the best that you can. no one can tell you that its not kay to get married for that reason. that is parallel to racial discrimination. weddings are not even about how beautiful you look, but that you are bonding with someone else. sure it might be a little embarrassing, but it is part of you for now. you have to accept that fat and progress with self confidence. you are doing whatever you can, so there is no point on worrying. and dont hold yourse;f back on anything because of the way you look.

Of course it's okay. YOu're marrying the person who you are in love with, and is in love with you. He loves you for who you are, and not hoping that you will become someone else.

Girl you fine the way you are beauty doesn't matter on the outside it's the inside that counts. I'm sure you'll look beautiful on your wedding day. Have fun and Congrats!

yes. i was also 5 months pregnant. how did i deal? f*ck everybody else's opinion if they get down on you. do you like yourself the way you are?

well i havent been a fat bride, or a bride at all, but i would say that as long as your healthy and happy and cute on your wedding day then it is fine!! weight is not everything

Every woman is beautiful and you are lucky you have found someone who sees that in you. Be proud of who you are and strut your stuff. =]

Congrats!!!! If you are healthy and your fiance loves you for who you are, i think you are fine. Just enjoy life. If you do lose more weight then good for you, just don't try to be something that you are not. Just make sure you stay healthy and be happy. :)

I have always been told that people that are over weight are happy, jolly, and all around very nice. Also I have found this to be true as many of my friends are a little plump! As long as u r in good health, that's all that counts, except for being in love of course!! Have a beautiful wedding, after all your intended fell in love with u as u are right?Be your self and both of u will make it.

I would suggest a cleansing diet. I did this and lost 12 pounds and 19 inches in 9 days. I continued and lost 29 pounds in a month. I like the program since it works by giving your body nutrition through protein shakes with digestive enzymes and vitamins and then cleansing out the toxins. We get toxins in our bodies from pesticides, preservatives, water, pollution, medications, food additives etc
