Eating makes me feel sick?!

Question: I can't eat anything anymore!
I don't like breakfast, I skip lunch, and then I eat a dinner.
Whenever I try to eat, I feel like I'm going to puke,
even if it is my favorite food.
My best friend thinks I'm a going annorexic, but I don't
not eat on purpose.I have a normal body and I'm sort of short. (5 feet)
and I'm 13.
Is this an eating disorder?

hey that happens to me sometimes and im 13,i don't think its a eating disorder, cause i dont do it on purpose either and even if its my favoutrite food. I love junk food and stuff but i always have to have breakfast, lunch and dinner but it happens alot to me.Its weird cause it also happens to my older bro sometimes! I dont think its a eating disorder cause it just happens randomly.

I have that problem too. Mine is due to an ulcer and stress. Just try to relax more, and eat very absorbent things like breads and carbs. Try to avoid orange juice, tomatos, acidic things.

No. Anorexia is not when you lose your appetite.

this problem is 100% physcological. your mental desire to lose weight is manifesting itself physically causing this inability to eat.

you need to get some counseling ASAP

Maybe you have some emotional/ anxiety issues that are responsible for your decreased appittie.

i had the same problem
my father is a doctor
he told me it was all psychological.
Your mind is telling your body not to eat
the mind is very powerful

by the way...

i'm only a year older than you ;)

Either you want to lose weight and your subconcious is making you feel this way or the foods you are trying to eat may be too acidic for you. I know you said you have a "normal body," but if you feel, subconciously like you want to lose weight, your mind will register that as problem, and it will find a way to fix the problem. We're all programmed this way. Our minds are constantly working to find ways to solve problems, whether we realize it or not. Either way, at a young age, it isn't good for you to skip meals, because you are still growing. It's actually better for you to eat about 5 small meals per day to maintain a healthy metabolic rate, and of course exercise, and drink plenty of water. Good luck!! =) When I was your age, I'd go through the same thing every now and then, but try to at least eat breakfast. It's good for ya! ;)
