How is it possible to shrink your own stomach naturally if you are overweight?!

Question: Trips and Tricks!

Answers: Trips and Tricks!

Don't eat as much. If you stop stretching your stomach, it will shrink. If you are wanting to tone up on the outside try crunches or sit ups. Good luck!!

It depends on your body structure.

If you tend to eat large portions, by cutting them down, over time your stomach will shrink (or more-so your appetite). Right now, your stomach is used to getting large portions, but by working on it and eating about 1/3 less at every meal, in a few weeks time you will notice you won't be needing as much food to get you full as you used to.

Depends on if we are talking about a mildly overweight person vs. obese. It also depends on the age of the person. Someone middle aged like myself might have a harder time bouncing back from years of yo-yo weight loss and gain.

As a person who has struggled with obesity for most of my adult life, I have noticed that when I lost 25 pounds in the last three months rapidly, there is a lot of stretched out stomach and loose skin. Not so much fat, or a large stomach, just loose skin. I would like to think that exercise might tighten that up, and I do notice that my appetite has been reduced and I can't eat as much in one sitting, but it does not affect how my stomach looks (bad). I am trying not to get discouraged, and I am going to look into doing some stomach and back strengthening exercises with weight machines to try to firm up those flabby stomach muscles. The muscles are under there somewhere :)

Good luck.
