Why does she get up and eat in the middle of the night?!! please give me some ad!


Question: I am wondering if anybody would know why my sister gets up in the middle of the night and eats a bowl of cereal(usually) or some other type of food, She does it every night!! She said sometimes she doesnt even remember gettin up and doing it! and she is not even hungry when she does it !sounds really weird to me and i can't figure it out!!

She is not overweight ....

Is this some type of disorder?

It's a typical case of the 'midnight munchies'!!! It isn't all that uncommon. Also, is she on Ambien by any chance? That often times makes people do unusual things that they don't remember doing the next day. Just a thought.

she must tell that his problem with a doctor

I know that I can wake up really hungry during the middle of the night (sometimes I even get panicky and shaky about it). So whatever is wrong with her is also wrong with me.

I guess tell her to eat something before she goes to bed

Naw, she just needs a snack to help her sleep. It's common and can be avoided. Choose healthy food.

sleep eating is actually more common than you would think, perhaps she's got that. or maybe she's just hungry!
or she might be denying it because she's embarrassed or doesn't want your parents/siblings to know.

Certainly, It is a disorder, you must contact to some physician. If she can take a good sleep or proper rest, it will reduce burdun on her mind and you can also change the environment like send her on outing for a month or on..........
