Can i loose 40lbs in 13 weeks?!


Question: i weigh 145lbs. if everyday i eat..

breakfast: 1 cup protein cereal with lite milk.
lunch: rye bread sandwhich with turkey and cranberry. (NO butter)
dinner: chicken breast with little bit of chicken salt to taste! and side salad.
lots of water.

everyday jog a minimum of 4k (thats 6.4 miles)

can i loose 40lbs? (17kg) by July 20th?

ill drink lots of water.
if i cant do it what can i expect and what can i do to help?
(when ive lost 20lbs i will start toning too)

I think that's a bit of a stretch. At your age you need to be careful about stunting your growth. Your diet looks OK, reasonably balanced. Maybe some fruit or veg for snacks.

2lbs a week isn't too excessive, but any more than that you could have dramas. And how tall are you? 105 is very light, have you checked the height and weight charts to find your ideal weight?

You can start toning exercises straight away. You don't just turn the fat into muscle - it's a myth. You will build the muscles under the fat so when you lose a bit they will show through more. And the muscle will burn more calories.

Its enough food, but too short a time.................give yourself another month and yes exercise helps.

That's a little excessive. I don't think that it's healthy to lose that much weight so quickly. I think 1 pound a week would be more realistic.

hon, you really dont have 40 lbs to lose.
i doubt you'll lose that much. i have a friend who is 5'2 and she weighs around 120. she has been trying to lose 10 pounds up and down for a month, no real diet though because she says she cant restrict herself, and she has had a really hard time with it. we work together and hang out outside of work so we are together a lot and we work out a lot together too. she is small as heck and for her body size, she is just about right.i think if you lost 20 pounds and toned up, you would be pleased with the results and you wouldnt look sickly. and you would do it by july!! good luck!
