yes u can, i was the same weight 2 weeks ago, i joined the gym and i have been walking on the treadmill on 3.5 speed fo an hour 6 days a week, and doing the bike or the elliptical for 30 mins. I cut out breads from my diet and i drinks lots of water, i don't eat anything at all after 6 or 7pm, i already lost 14 lbs, you can do it! if you need to stay motivated just talk to me, im right there with you, itz a struggle but it's doable

Cut out the junk food and fast food. cut out carbs like white bread, pasta, potatoes, rice, sugar. Eat only 100% whole wheat and then only sparingly. Eat lots of fresh veggies and lean protein. Drink water-the rule of thumb is 64 ounces and then an additional 8 ounces for every 10 lbs you want to lose. Walk 20-30 minutes a day 3-5 days a week.

No more then 1500 calories a day and at least 11 hours of aerobic activity a week.
Should lose you 5 pounds a week. You should aim at 2 hours a day. Not just cushy workouts put some effort in power walk in stead of walk. Ride instead of role etc. also some tone up or resistance traing would be beneficial.
But saying that if you halve it to 7 hours a week it you will still lose 15-20 pounds and look great.

but in general...... for each drink you drink that's not water drink of glass of water...... hydration is key
start looking at the sodium content in what your eating and take out some of the sodium in your diet..... it balloons you up
if your drinking diet drinks STOP there's new info that says that confuses your body...... drink water or juice in that place or if you need the caffeine.... no more than 3 a day
replace ground beef with ground turkey
switch your breads and pastas to be low grain
you could also do the special k diet for 2 weeks and see what that does for you and if it works maybe do that... 2 weeks on maybe 2 weeks off depending on how you feel on it........
increase your level of physical activity.... if your doing none right now I'd start out slow for the first 2 weeks.... if you have access to a gym that's fantastic......if you don't start taking walks......and get a Pilate's video and a yoga one as well... if you have a bike get out and ride it...... basically you need to sweat because of physical activity at least 3 days a week for say 45 minutes starting out.....every 2 weeks increase your activity
