Why do I gain weight if I eat less then 2000 cals a day?!
Question: I'm F/26, 5'8 and currently 160lbs, I recently lost 90lbs from eating healthier, one thing I noticed though, is when I eat something that weighs alot, like a bowl of soup, or something else that is heavy in weight but low in cals/fat, I gain weight even if I eat less then 2000 cals that day. Shouldn't I be getting the weight back once the food is digested?

Weight loss is a gradual thing and your weight will still fluctuate throughout the day. Have you tried weighing yourself at the same time each day (morning is best) so that you can make a true comparison?
If you are eating foods which contain a lot of salt (soup is a really bad culprit, check the label) it is possible that you are also retaining water which will make you heavier.
Try cutting down salt and drinking more water, this may not sound like it makes sense but by drinking more water you will get rid of excess salt in your body and therefore you will also lose any extra fluid you are retaining. Hope this helps!
cuz u have to burn more calories than u take in per day
Its probably just water weight.
2000 cals per day is not for everyone.
you must find out your basal metabolic rate base.
then you can estimate how much you must consume to lose weight.
weight loss is burning more than you consume.
good luck
There is also the issue of sodium an water retention to make it look and feel like you have gained weight.
