When I work my biceps out, should they be sore? what if they're not?!

Question: Mainly my biceps. It seems no matter how hard I work them and how much weight I lift, They're rarely sore. My gains seem to increase a little but not as fast as the rest of me.
Maybe a pro bodybuilder is out there to help me.

Yes, they should be. It is called Delayed Onset Muscle Soreness.
It is believed that DOMS is caused by small tears in your muscle. This results in the scaring and healing and growth of your muscle.
You should be having some pain. If not, do you mind sharing how your are training?
Aim for the 6-8 rep range with 3 sets. Last set should be to failure. This means that you should not be able to finish your last reps without a spotter.
You need to lift big to get big. A whole bunch of repetitions wont result in big gains.

than your not making yourself stronger, you are just maintaining what you have. You need to push yourself to become stronger, when you feel sore it means you have made little tiny rips in your muscles and in a couple days your muscles will repair (for lack of a better word) and become larger.

they usually sore at first but when your gets used to it then it wont sore anymore.

Im not a pro builder but i have asked the same question before, and soarness does not matter at all. When your muscle is soar, the only thing that means is they are not used to the workout. If you really want to be soar, try upping the weight and reps, and also trying new workouts

your muscles only get sore for a few weeks when you havent worked out in a while. The soreness you feel is caused by latic acid build up, not by rips in your muscles, although your mucles do tear appart and re-build when you work out. When you havent worked out in a while your mucles are out of shape and cant get oxygen to the mucles fast enough so your cells have to rely on the fermentaion cycle to produce atp, latic acid is a by product of the fermentation cycle. Once your mucles get in better shape they can get oxygen to your mucles fast enough and dont have to rely on the fermentation cycle to produce energy which illimintated the lactic acid build up which causes soreness. You know you have gotton a good work out if your mucles feel tied and you have difficulty moving the mucles that you worked out.
