Am my doing it wrong?!


Question: HI all
on my chest day,i do 11 sets totally.

flat press---4 sets
push ups--4 sets
incline press-3 sets
my rep range is 12-14(I get failure around here)

BUt I am not at all getting that "pUMPED" feeling.does that mean I am not working out properly.???

You might have your hand placement too close which would put the emphasis on your triceps instead of mostly on your chest.
Try a wider grip. You also might want to add in dumbell flys to really stretch and stress the pec muscles.

Well....I've never really got that "pumped" feeling but I know it's working when a) I get to muscle failure or b) maybe I don't get to failure but I sure feel it the next day! Being a woman our bodies react differently to men, we don't build muscles as big or get that testosterone buzz!

you have to alternate these exercises with other exercises like flat, incline, and decline dumbell flies, seated chest press and flies using machines, once your body was able to adjust to the work out you do,nothing will change in your physique, if all else fails there is such a thing as "stubborn muscles"
