I just did a 40 minute workout using weights. Now I'm really shaky. What cau!

Question: When you exercise your muscles deplete their glycogen supplies. When you overwork your muscles to the point where their glycogen supplies have depleted then they need to be replenished.
The shaking is most probably caused by your muscles craving the nutrients that your body is not supplying.
Make sure you have an isotonic sports drink during and just after exercise to replace depleted glycogen levels and some lean protein just before and just after lifting weights to help repair torn muscle fibres.

you're muscles could just be really tired try eating something and geting some rest

You lifted too much weight. Or you didn't get the proper fuel before/after working out.

You've overdid it, now your muscles are numb, make sure you get a lot of nutrients.

being tired.

thats how you should feel after done some weight lifting. It means you pushed your muscles hard. Now give those muscles a day to recover before you work them again.
