Do we really only use 10% of our brain power?!

Question: I've seen arguments for and against this idea. Anyone have a concrete answer?

This is what I heard too. It could be true....could you imagine if it were true, if we could use at least 25 percent of our brain?

some don't use that much.

not concrete but i'm sure it's true for some people!

Yes, I currently am operating without any brain material.

I don't think we use that much. People are too lazy to think in the US. If you can learn to press a button, you're good.

That's a myth.

Along with toilets flushing in the oppisite direction south of the equator and scientist saying bumblebees can't fly, this is one of MANY science myths floating around. It's amazing how many otherwise scientifically literate people will quote these as facts.

He did... but the concrete sunk him when he got in over his head!

No, we use much more.

Bush was elected twice. Nuff said.

That's the difference between "we & us." <}:-})

It cannot be meaured. The cutting edge info is Daniel Amen's 40,000 brain scans and it shows most of the brain being used in healthy people. A good pick-up line is what you say and I think people use only 10% of thier hearts. Dr Amen wrote the bestseller, Change your Brain, Change your Life.

no we just use different parts in different ways.
