Answers: Without using drugs / slimming aids etc... lose it naturally through diet and exercise?

Yes definately!

I have always been on diets. But they were the kind that never stuck! Then my doctor told me I have high cholesterol.

I have never been really really overweight, just kinda chubby. I am 5"1 and I weighed 9st 10lbs.

I changed my diet to a healthy heart diet and started doing a bit more exercise and I drink loadsa water and now I weigh 8st 8lbs.

It has been the best! My diet is kinda like this:

Breakfast:
Cheerios and skimmed milk OR wholegrain toast with flora and a low fat yogurt.

Lunch:
A wholegrain sandwich with cottage cheese & salad (I vary the salad!) or a huge salad with loadsa yummy stuff in. A low fat yogurt or a cereal bar.

Dinner:
Steamed veg (but looooads of it) and something Quorn (I'm a vegetarian) OR wholegrain pasta OR jacket potato and beans.

The best thing to do is this:
Don't eat anything white. Not bread, pasta, rice. Anything. Switch it all to wholegrain.
Don't eat junk. No crisps, no chocolate, no crap. Nada. Eat cereal bars, yogurts, fruit.
Drink loads of water. Fill up a 2lt bottle and drink it all during the day.
Pick up the exercise. We all know we should be doing more.
Switch to skimmed milk!

At the end of the day, you know what are good foods and what are bad foods - just don't lie to yourself!

yes it is very possible but sure not the easiest thing to know , One just need to be patient and persistent .You can check out my blog for more diet and fitness tips : http://yourhealthdoctor.blogspot.com/
