Am i too fat (age 13)?!


Question: ookk, i'm 13 years old, 5ft, and 100lbs
my measurements are:
32-24.5-32

whenever i look in the mirror i just want to puke. all my friends are skinny and here i am at a whoppin 100 pounds!!
i kno i am "average" but i want to be "slim/skinny" so what can i do to be that?

The healthy bmi range is 18.5 - 24.9 and yours is 19.5 so you are actually quite skinny. I think you just have low self esteem if you think that you are fat and want to "puke" when you see yourself. If want to tone up or gain some muscel try going cardio workout (running walking etc) and toning exercises like press-ups, sit-ups, leg-lifts and lifting light weights etc.
Just make sure you are doing the recommended 30 minutes a day and eating a healthy diet. Just remember that you are actually really skinny (im not saying your anorexic or anything, im sorry if its coming across like that).

100lbs is still very slim
be happy with who u are and dress to make urself look skinnier instead
ur friends may just have a fast metabolism
aas long as you are eating right and exersizing its fine

Oh sweetie, I'm almost the same as you. It's tough being big but you're not that big! Honestly, be what you are and not what everyone else is. Don't try anything stupid because only the real stuff works. The real stuff is probably what everyone has told you, exercise and good food. Try eating just vegetables and fruit and a bit of bread for a while. Go on walks and stuff. You ain't fat! Trust me, I'm 13 too and it's tough but can be awesome fun! Just be yourself because you don't want to be regretting all those days you spent worrying about your weight when you're an old granny and you realize weight doesn't matter one tiny bit.

You are slender already. Being skinny at 13 is not healthy at all.

well eat heathyer and it doesnt matter if your average. People should like you the way you are and not judge u by what the scale says. if i were you i would luv my body just the way it is. I meen plus sized modles luv there bodies... why cant you

Skinny girls are creepy looking.

Why would you want to be skinny. I think skinny girl and boys looks unhealthy. My cousin (14 years) is a beautiful size 10 and is stunning! The main thing is she is really happy inside and it show's.

If you really want to loose abit of weight then do it in a helthy sociable way. Join an after school sports club. Go to dance classes or find a fun aerobic class.
