I'm a 13 yr old girl 5'3 140lbs HELP!?!


Question: Okay, I've tried little things here and there, just like the rest of us. But I never seem to get anywhere! I try to exersize at nite as much as I can w/o becoming overly sore the next day. I would like to be about 120, I'm pretty big boned so if I lose too much I'll look like a freak. Please don't be mean, I know I'm fat. Thanx yall!

so who cares i am a girl also i am 13yrs old and i weight 154lbs and i dont say im fat yes i now i am so wat the heck. People like you by who u are not cuz of they way you look.My dad told me he didnt love me because i was fat my boyfriend he was so fine my friend s try to brake us up they told him i was too fat to ugly he said he didnt care he just care about my inside.Yes i tried to get skinny and im working out but fod is too good my mom says imma get skinny but not yet doctors also tell me i shouldnt care about how fat i am the important thing is to be healthy i used used used to be a size 3 on jeans and medium on shirts now i am size 11 and large so wat so dont matter about ur physical either way one day youre going to be skinny i now it trust me your going to remember me well hope this make you feeel better

cut out soda, drink more water...limit your starches, like breads and pasta...exercise cardio 30 min a day 4 times a week

Hun, you are NOT fat. You still have plenty of years to grow as well.
I'll tell you what I tell everyone.
Don't eat fast food, don't drink pop, and watch your trans fats.
Bring your lunch to school because those things can be nasty and full of crap. Preservatives aren't good for you.
Don't do a "diet" at your age though, because most of those require that you eat specific foods that can be hard to come by in a school setting.
I dunno about you, but we couldn't even have water bottles in our middle school.

If you really want to loose weight, write down everything you eat and don't cheat and then look up the calorie and fat content and add it together, It might surprise you how many calories you eat. Also, walking is a very good way to loose weight so if you walk when you could ride, that helps and if you really can't lose weight, make sure your thyroid is workin right by the dr. taking a blood test.

Well I have to say it's really hard to lose weight. Try not to worry about it, just eat healthy, drink lots of milk and water, and do lots of running. Just eat healthy, don't diet, you're still young. And use "thinspiration." That's what helps me lose weight. I carry around a pic of a model with a flat stomach. So whenever i want junk food, I can look at that pic. Or if I don't have it, I imagine it in my head. That helps a lot. Good luck!

Talk to your doctor. Begin an exersize program. Whatever you do, don't go on any crazy diets or anything. Just talk to your doctor, and you'll be fine

I think it's great that you are trying to do what you can. Obviously exercise is one way. Another really good way is proper eating, and portion control. Did you know that a serving of meat is about the size of a normal deck of cards, and that we need only 3 servings a day? That being said, it is also important to make sure you eat enough. Otherwise your body thinks that it is starving, and saves any extra that you do eat... Drink lots of water too! like 3litres a day.
