Do the stairs instead of the escalators! Don't eat cheese, chocolate, ice cream, hot dogs, hamburgers. Cook at home- vege's are better than processed foods. Mash is better than chips. Try going for a walk every morning or afternoon with a friend. Dont eat after 8pm. Hot water with a squeeze of lemon juice gets your metabolism going first thing in the morning, so that you start to burn some calories.Sugar is not your friend!

She should set a smaller, more attainable goal. She should drop her goal to 3-4 lbs. a month. Success on a diet keeps you motivated.

1. Eat Special K!
2. Check for calories, and eat lots of salads.
3. Excercise for 10 minutes for three days. Then 20 minutes for three more days. Then 30 minutes for three more days. Etcetera.
4. Eat in smaller portions.
5. Eat weight loss bars that help people stay full.
6. Eat when she's hungry, but only a little.

You can't lose weight that fast, and keep it off.

She needs to start exercising, first of all.
She'll also need to cut down on foods high in calories and fat.
One very important thing is for her to drink LOTS of water.
She also needs to lay off of any sweetened beverages which contain TONS of empty calories.

She can start by simply dropping all junk foods and sugary products for a month straight I just ate nothing but salads and grilled meat or chicken. Nothing fried and nothing sugary. Strictly water or maybe even lemonade.... and i dropped the weight quickly enough to the point that I could start incorporating smaller bread portions and things like that into my diet and not feel guilty about enjoying them because i just hop on the treadmill for an hour a day and excersise regularly...
