Question: I'm trying to gain muscle mass as well. My co-worker actually is a licensed trainer and he told me to eat alot of protein and good fats!

Stay away from any white meaning white bread or white pasta. Try eating wheat bread, wheat pasta and if you like pancakes, wheat pancakes!

Take a multivitamin everyday!

lean meats like chicken and fish!

Eat alot of Green Veggies like spinach, cabbage, broccoli.

Try drinking protein shakes and eating protein bars for snacks....nuts like cashews are really good too!

Drink alot of water, milk and orange juice!

I hope I helped!

Eat alot of protein. Have a balanced diet. Don't eliminate everything from your diet but cut down on the fatty sugary stuff. Good luck!

protein shakes, protein bars, meats, all good.
never eat empty calories or fatty foods, your muscle
might be replaced with fat

eat a lot of protein and carbs: chicken, fish, steak, eggs, milk, tuna, whole wheat bread and pasta, nuts, cheese......
stay away from deep fried food and simple carbs(junk food)

Plenty of protein daily. stay away from fats no fast food either.

You will have to eat 5-6 small meals throughout the day. I say this with the assumption that you are awake enough hours to get in that many meals. Eat when you first get up and every 3 hours after that, last meal 2-3 hours before bed. If that means you only get 4 meals in, so be it...the concept is feeding your body what it needs to be sustained and able to absorb what you want it to, and burn everything else.

Simply put...eat a lot of protein and few carbs (not no carbs). If you eat lean meats, carbs won't kill your ability to bulk up.

Stay full by eating broccoli and other fiber rich veggies with your lean meats. Don't spike your glucose with sugary foods or simple carbs, like breads most cereals, and potatos (that is what will kill your ability to gain muscle). Drink a protein shake immediately after working out to force your body to absorb the muscle bulding compound.

That's the simple version...this is the best site I have found for building muscle...
