Hopefully this can help you out. You may be not eating what you need and/or doing the wrong exercises. If you send me an email I can offer more guidance if you offer more details on what you are currently doing.
The more important part for you to concentrate on is your body fat % (not total weight). You could lose 5 lbs and if you're tone and fit, have a smokin hot body. Get your body fat % checked (doctor or any good gym) and set a goal of how much fat to lose in the next few months.
Third - here's your help:
You need a proper balance of excercise, nutrition, supplements
- excercise: resistance training mixed with cardio. Wake up early (if you can) and do your cardio in the morning (will help your metabolism esp. on an empty stomach). Mix up sprints, with regular running, stair stepper or a spin cycle class (do keep it different and your body guessing). Do your lifting/resistance training in the evenings). Light weights (or resistance bands) and high reps. Can either alternate lowerbody/upperday (Day1/Day2) or break it up into a three day cycle (like tri/bi/front legs, back/chest/back legs, shoulders/butt/something else). If you're short on time focus on your trouble spots. You can do abs every day. Use the ab balls as much as possible (they work your core in every exercise). Don't do situps (if you must lay on the ground do crunches). Leg lifs and weighted crunch machines are ok too.
- nutrition: eat chicken/fish/lean turkey and brown rice/broccoli (or things of that nature). Eliminate the cheese and limit the salt (will help you not hold water). Eat some fruit if you
