How many calories do I burn in a day with excersice and without excersice?!

Question: Well I'm 15 and I weigh about 280 and Im starting to live life healthy. I do cardio excersice everyday for about an hour and I also walk about 30 minutes 4 times a week. I only eat salads with light dressing. And every now and then I eat some baked chicken and baked fish to give myself some protein. On days when I'm not feeling hungry I usually eat non-fat yogurt or an apple just to put something in my stomach that day. Someone please tell me how many calories I burn natrually and how many calories I burn when I excersice.

general rule of thumb... your basel metabolic rate can be estimated by adding a zero to your weight, you are 280, so you are burning approximately 2800 Cal's per day at rest. These calories are burned by basic body functions... digesting, breathing, hair growth, circulation, etc.

To lose weight.... 3500 calories equals a pound. You need to be in a calorie deficit of 7000 calories to lose that pound.
Start with eating breakfast every day, even if you are not hungry. You must EAT to lose weight. When you go all day with a yogurt and a piece of fruit, your body goes into starvation state, and actually stores everything you eat in your fat cells. every three hours is a good rule of thumb.... small meals, not three course dinners! Eat whole grains, lots of fruit and veggies, and always protein.

How many calories you burn with exercise depends on what type of exercise you are doing, for how long, and how hard ( intensity) aim for 60 minutes of activity every single day. Walking is fine, but try something new, too. Resistance training is just as important as cardio for weight loss, so grab some dumbbells, or Resistance tubing and give it a go. The more muscle you have, the fat you will burn,

Good luck, remember to eat!!!!

well im not sure. but i will tell you that at the rate your going, your definitely going to be seeing the weight coming right off :)

your doing very good keep it up!! what you should no is that your body is like a machine. it burns calories for 3 hours after you eat anything. after those 3 hours are up it expects to eat again, if it doesn get any food it starts to burn muscel and store fat imeadiatly because survival mode kicks in ( in actuality our bodies kinda start to panic and swears were starving to death, wierd but true!) so to harness this power eat a little something every 3 hours. than your body-your machine- will burn calories literally all day!!! do that with a hard workout and.....! all you have to do is eat at least something that is 90 calories or more. dont go any higher than 300 calories everytime you eat, but you must get at least 1800 calories a day minumal because your body needs at least that much to work ok. what i do is count how many calories i just ate and when i work out make sure i burn that many calories!

The one thing I might want to tell you about to lose a HECKA amount of weight and to live a LOT healthier is to become a vegetarian. I've been a vegie since I was BORN and I've never had a pot belly and I eat almost anything I want (that's not meat). The only thing you have to worry about then is SODA and SUGAR. Sugar is your WORST ENEMY when losing weight.
Yes,I know. I didn't answer your question and I apologize for that. But I wanted you to know what I just said above anyways.Hope someone tells you what you want and I hope you lead a better life now!
