I broke my diet...AGAIN!!!!:...(?!

Question: I'm trying to take off these annoying 8 lbs for summer but I can't stop eating!!! I can go for about 3-4 days alright, but then I over eat on the fourth or fifth with LOADS! of cereal(honey bunches of ots), peanut butter, bread.. How can I stop? This weight loss is important to me but I just can't seem to stop these "every four day" cravings. On my "good girl days" I eat 1,500 calories(healthy ones) and then walk for about 30-40 minutes.

<><><>And do you thing the days I do eat I will gain extra weight from?

Please help

guess what? i need to lose 8 pounds too. guess we're not alone at this =) anyways, sounds to me that when you pig out you pig out on carbs, which is something u should really be grateful about, because when i pig out, i go for chocolates. anyways, since you like carbs so much, you can buy those low-fat peanut butter that don't really taste that great so maybe that'll stop you from wanting to eat so much bread. and as for cereal, just replace "honey bunches of oats" with something more low-cal, like rice krispies, which tastes pretty bland too so maybe that'll also discourage you. but if you really gotta have bread, go to subway and get a 6 inches turkey sandwich, it tastes great and is surprisingly low-cal and low-fat if you choose the right contents to put in it. what i do is i divide it in half so it seems even more. also, you can lock all your food in a cabinet or something. only take out your allowed food for the week and keep the rest locked, and keep the key at work or school and don't bring it home till the week ended. this way, no matter how much you eat per day, the total amount you eat per week is the same. and you won't to eat it all in three days, because then you'll just starve, and im sure you don't like that. you'll find yourself saving the food, because you don't want to go hungry. also, keep everything that has to go in the fridge and can't go in the cabinet in a opaque plastic bag and shove it waaaaay to the back of the fridge. out of sight, out of mind.

Girl, don't trip if you are eating... just start exercising more if you eat more. Spend more time jogging and exercising and it's fine to eat. Good Luck

its the same for me :( sorry i cant help you here but i would really like to see the answers.

Read how to lose weight simply yet effectively on this site...you will be amazed

i know its hard =[ go to subway and eat a 6 grams sandwich =] no mayo and no oil or cheese.. on wheat bread kay =]

Eat celery, you burn more calories from eating it then you obtain from it

No I doubt you will gain extra weight, BUUUUUT
try as hard as you can and up the time with your work out, run instead of walk, and try to force yourself to do something else when you get "hungry" it may just be boredom

The key is to not go on a diet! Just use healthier habits. Like eating apples or strawberries or something instead of candy. Don't get that extra-large drink with your sandwich at the restaurant. Limit yourself to one sugary drink a day. Eat a healthy cereal for breakfast Switch all of you wheat products to whole grain products. Stuff like that, you know?

I would HIGHLY recommend you tuning into TLC's "I Can Make You Thin." It comes on Sunday at 8:00 central, I think.
It teaches you how to eat, and what not. There has been a high such a high success rate, people have lost lots and lots of weight. It teaches you to cut cravings and not stress about eating.
Good luck.

Maybe the days you do eat aren't making you gain more weight but it probably just keeps you stuck at a certain weight. You do all this hard work to eat right and exercise which should lead to weight loss but your blowing it with indulging on the fifth day. The best thing that works for me if I want to avoid eating certain foods is to not even buy those foods to begin with. If the food isn't there to tempt you to begin with you will do so much better!

The whole concept of deprivation diets is wrong. Eat what you want, eat slowly and enjoy what you eat, stop when you are full. Don't eat mindlessly, sit down at the table, turn off the TV, phone etc.

OMG I need to lose 8lbs by summer too! I've been breaking all my diets too! It's SO hard to stay motivated and continue my diet. But for some REALLY SUPER ODD reason, I can ONLY stick to diets if they're like 300 cals. But I can't STAND on going on 1200 cal diets. But I can't completely starve either! It's SO WEIRD!

But this is what I started doing:
-start off with $25
-everytime I take a bite/swallow out of something I shouldn't, it costs 50 cents.
-At the end of every 2 weeks, if I didn't cheat on my diet and exercise plan AT ALL, then I get to use that $25 for a pair of jeans.
-repeat until you get your bikini body =)

(u can buy a shirt or something else instead.)

PLZ ANSWER THIS EVERYONE: http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;...

its not a day craving, its just that you finally notice that food you've been wanting and want it so bad. Once you take even one bite you feel like all your work is down the drain and think it doesn't matter. You might make a promise to make the routine perfect. The answer is either limit these foods or just don't have them around your house. The foods you said you ate aren't completely evil so cheer up. Cheat on that food that you love maybe once a week but understand that its a reward for your "good girl days" and get back on the exercise the following day.
