Bulimia. Advice?!


Question: How do I quit? I'm looking for advice or tips. Please don't brush this off. It has gotten to the point where if I eat a peice of candy I will vomit, whether I intend to vomit or not.

I have tried to do some research on this:

Sometimes bulimia can happen alongside depression, obssesive compulsive disorder or anxiety- so ''Behaviour modification, counselling and antidepressant medication may be recommended.''

mabye, before you try that, you could try shock tactics- ex. researching the long term effects that bulimia can have on you, etc.

you should see outside help. however, you should start eating food your body needs more than well...candy...your body doesn't need candy...but for example...you're body needs bread and stuff... i'm not sure how you can quit...but you need to look at yourself...and say "this isn't right...i should stop...making myself vomit...i can be beautiful and healthy" goodluck.

well i would think that having slimfast is better the having nothing at all...

do the slimfast until you body gets the nourishment that it needs (say 3wks) and the after that try to add some lean proteins like chicken tuna salmon and salads, again do this for another 2wks or so to get you body use to eating again then just slowly start adding new things

dont try to rush ur body to eating because this is the reason why you are not about to keep it down

also when you start add in foods to your diet have a fibre supp 2 because you will have to teach you bowls how to work again too
