Is this a good diet ??!


Question: Will i lose weight by using this diet :
(replace all drinks with water)
Breakfast - 1 small bowl of cereal - 170cal
Snack - Banana (keep energy up) - 110cal
Lunch - Tuna Sandwich - 306 cal
Dinner - Cod and Peas 250cal

I planned this because you need to eat alot of protine and drink alot of water. Also cereal is healthy . I have also read that you need to eat more than 3 meals a day to lose weight as eating starts the fat burning molecules from working.

But despite this i still am unsure ... will this diet lose me weight ??

I think it sounds great.
Drink a lot of water to stay full and chew gum when hungry but dont want to break the rules.
make sure to exercise and maybe have an afternoon snack of possibly a carrot (no dip!)

dont give up, it might take 2 weeks to get the ball rolling, but once it does the weight will probably fall off, depending how much you weigh.

No. Just eat fruit (the natural food of a human)

very good! also include a apple or other fruit between lunch & dinner. maby more vegies(different coloured ones) with your dinner.

best way to lose weight is to increse protein, fibre and calcium and cut out 90% fat carb and sugar

breakfast, make a smoothie with
1 cup no fat milk
1/2 up Allbran
1 egg
1/2 cup strawberries
drop of vanilla essence

snack
almonds

lunch
100-150g lean turkey or peeled cooked prawns
with green leafy salad
and mango dressing

snack
beef jerky

dinner
100-150g salmon, turkey or kangaroo
with steamed brown rice
and steamed veg

if you get hungry between meals chew sugar free gum

I think you need to eat a min of 1200 calories to keep your body from going into hibernation mode. Basically what that means if you don't eat enough calories, your body thinks it is going to starve and holds on to every fat cell and calorie for dear life.
You also need SOME exercise to boost metabolism a little to spark the fat burning process. I will attach some websites to give you some "negative calorie" foods, which basically cause your body to burn more calories than they contain, which is good. The foods you listed are good though.
This is the healthy way of doing things, and is more of a healthy lifestyle choice, rather than a diet. If you want a diet, and accept that you will gain the weight back, Atkins worked great for me, lost 40 lbs very quickly, but gained it all back in the end, but I did look good at that wedding. Now I balance eating right with going to the gym, I feel WAY better than I did on that "diet". Good luck.
