Is this healthy for a 15 yr old girl trying to gain a few lbs?!

Question: i'm recovering from an eating disorder, 5ft7 and 112lbs
i'm aiming to gain 4lbs.. SLOWLY as advised by health worker.... so my calories haven't been upped drastically...

porridge

mid morning : cereal par

afternoon : wholemeal pitta with cooked meat
yoghurt drink, cheese dippers
afternoon snack: bannana

I think you have yourself on a great start to over coming your eating disorder and i know how hard it is to do this.

Um maybe try to add a meal replacement shake in maybe at night around 7 or so. That should help and little and not make you feel bloated or anything and then slowly add new things to your menu as you are comfortable mix things up.
have some cream of wheat in the morning with some fruit or for snack have some milk and maybe a pb and j sandwich something on that end. But you are doing great and should be proud of yourself. Hang in there you will do OK and WILL get better, you didn't get your eating disorder over night and aren't going to get better over night either take your time so that you don't relapse OK.

Yes putting on weight is always healthy, unless ur obese

I think 112ibs is good enough you should eat to much after a eating disoder im only 105ils

Yes, I'm 5'8'' and weigh 112lb like you. When I want to put on weight I make sure I eat often and more than I would usually.
Try and find your favourite food and snack on it often by leaving some around the house, I love Lindt chocolate that has a milk and white chocolate layer.But don't be scared of exercise;
it can help you feel more positive about yourself,
it will help you gain weight as muscle weights the same as fat but looks better,
it will increase you appetite and so you will want to eat more.

I hope everything works out for you!

uhmmm hate to break it to you
but you really need to gain more weight than just 4 pounds.
your "health worker" is an idiot for thinking you should be less than 120 pounds when you're that tall.

you should be eating 2000. if you dont, you're not going to gain weight. you're basically losing weight since you're on a strict diet like that.

you're way to concerned about your weight.
you need to eat more than three times a day.
you need to be AT LEAST 140 to look somewhat
healthy.

just EAT.
i doubt it gives you indigestion, maybe it's the things
that you eat that cause it because it's nasty and doesn't go right with you.

anything small doesn't work. you need at least 6 meals a day. you're very very very underweight
2000 calories would be great for you.

Muscle weighs more than fat, so instead of gaining through food which you seem to be afraid of, wht don't you try some weight lifting? When exercising, put in some weight training. You can buy some dumbells & do curl & stuff . Or wear ankle weights & do leg lifts. That way, you won't add fat & can gain muscle weight.
