How much weight could I lose if I consumed nothing but water for a day?!

Question: I'm 14, male, 5'5" and 128 lbs.

Answers: I'm 14, male, 5'5" and 128 lbs.

a few pounds, but you will put it straight back on as soon as you eat. when you don't eat, your body goes into starvation mode and fills your fat reserves, so by not eating enough you actually make yourself fatter.

best just to accept yourself for the unique being you are and start to eat sensibly. eat smaller portions when you are hungry as this is your body telling you it needs fuel. stop eating before you start to feel full and then you will be eating the right amount of food to fuel your body without getting overweight. it is better to pace yourself.

once you have a healthy lifestyle you can live that way for the the rest of your life without having to obsess over your weight. if you crash diet you might get thin but will almost certainly put it all back on.

lyk nothing

mmm only like a pound but if you do that for a week and eat very small meals you might loose like 5 pounds

if anything you may gain weight because your body thinks you are starving yourself and will begin to store fat because it may need that later. and it will attack your muscle cells for quick energy and slow down your metabolism...hope that helps

You're probably good where you are right now.
Probably will not loose anything.

not that much..a few pounds max...and as your not eating you'll have little energy to be active so you'll be burning less calories in that respect..a poor idea

well i didn't feed my cat anything for a whole month and it burst into flames.

We can't tell you that since I do not know your body and not a mind reader. Just try it if you want to find out.

I know that when I went to the Olympics and was there doing major workouts for over 6 hours and had zero to eat or drink the entire day I lost over 10 pounds in fluid alone.

maybe half a pound but then you'll gain it back

you would lose nothing because you need to eat, but you need to work off more calories than you eat to lose weight.

you'd probably gain weight. water is absorbed by the muscles and cells, which is why when you exercise, you begin to loose water before fat. You'd also urinate a lot.

you don't want to loose weight you want to gain mussel mass but actually your weight , height for your age is fine.

Hardly any as we are made up of mostly water. I would not advise that you do this as too much water and no food will dilute essential body salts and the trace elements that we need to survive.
At 14 and 5'5 at 128 lbs, you sound OK to me.
