Losing weight will make your calves and thighs thinner!
also hear are some good work outs
go on a treadmill or a run
drink water( it flushes out you system and it anaturally helps you loose weight)
stepping stairs are also great

Losing weight in the thigh/calves area is hard for women. You have to do about 3 days a week of intense cardio to lose fat. Then I suggest leg lifts, squats and using a stability ball. If you want to lose fat and keep your legs slimmer instead of bulky try yoga. I bought a ten dollar yoga leg workout and it's great. It keeps my legs lean and strong without being ugly bulky...great for swimsuit season.

i can tell you this much - it is extremely hard to lose fat off the thighs, but it is possible.

Yes it will, but that may not be the first place you see weight loss, depends on your body to where you lose weight first but its usually the face and arms

running is very good for the legs and will ehlp to tone them up. weight loss isn't nccessarily the answer because developing muscle from exercise will help to slim your thighs down so.. take up exercise!!! - and i really reccommend running :-)

When losing body fat, you lose it equally around the body because the blood cells travel all around the body, i wont go any farther than that. Only when builiding muscle does it affect the area you are working on, like doing arm weight lifts will not build muscle on your legs, it will just build muscle on your arms.
