Yes, not eating will cause you to lose weight, but it is NOT healthy to do it that way. Honest.
Several years ago when I was going thru a highly stressful time, I didn't not eat, I just basickally starved myself, by not eating enough calories per day -- not anorerxic, nor bulemic, but just not eating as much as I should have.
Yes, I lost weight, lots of it, however, when I was thru the stressful time, and I rediscovered food, and how good it tastes, I gained back the weight, and more.
Now, you say you believe you are fat. Have you gone to your Dr. to get checked on that? If the Dr. says you are fine the way you are, then you are.
Please Nikki, keep in mind, all the pictures of all the models and actresses, are fake, they are airbrushed, to remove all their "flaws" from the picture. In real life, they don't look that good. Especially without all the makeup they wear. And the hair dressers that fix their hair "just so".
A female, at 5 ft. baseline weight, 100 lbs. Bone structure, at 5' should probably weigh 105 - 115. Maybe even 120 at the most. Depending on how you carry it.
Please Nikki, see your Dr. asap about your weight, see what he/she says -- if you are fine, then don't worry about it. At all.
Everyone needs to eat proteins, carbs, fruits and veggies every day (if at all possible). And drink 8 - 8 oz glasses of water. Exercise -- just a 30 min. walk is good. Or bowling, swimming, bike riding, and also, if you feel like it, instead, in your home (room if need be) put on some good music you like and doance a bit. Take care. Remember, muscle weigh more than fat too.

To all the people saying that not eating will make you gain fat: Wtf.? To gain weight you need to intake calories. Like a sausage machine. Dont throw any pigs in there, no sausages come out.

No, it doesnt. Your body goes into storage mode, and youactually gain weight around your tummy. Yu know tyhose little kids in africa that have no food? they have big bellies cause theeir bodies are in storage mode. basically, anything you ever eat stays in your system for a long time.

It makes you loose weight because your body is starving and eventually starts consuming the fats.

Its also harmful because loosing to much weight to fast is a strain on the system. I would contact a physician or my doctor with further ways on safely loosing weight. Starving is surely not a good idea.

Actually not eating or eating irregularily makes you gain weight. By starving yourself, your body goes into "starvation mode" and starts to store fat for later. (easy terms speaking) Because it doesn't know when it's going to get food again, it sort of stocks up just incase.
I mean over time obviously you will lose weight this way because your body will run out of supply, but by that time you'll be so weak...
This really isn't the best diet. Not only will you be uncomfortable from being so hungry, you will be unhealthy and more than likely get sick.

Why don't you just eat right and exercise? It really does work!

P.S From what I can see in your picture, you don't look that fat. Don't become anorexic or bulimic, it's not becoming or healthy. It's kind of pathetic actually... try getting a hobbie or something to gain some self esteem if that's what you lack, because you probably AREN'T fat...

No it doesn't. Starving makes your body go into survival mode; metabolism rate slows down and your body holds on to your fat stores for survival. If you still don't eat, you'll die soon of hunger and malnutrition or faint from fatigue.

i will try and help...
when we starve our bodies we shift into reserves so your body holds on to anything that you do eat because it knows that you haven't been giving it much energy. So,.. when you do start to eat again your body just holds onto it for longer instead of breaking it down (slows metabolism). Just eat sensibly fruit, veg, carbs and fat. exercise of course too!

no its not bad.. you are simply giving your body a rest... detoxing

yes for every day you fast you can lose up to 0.5kgs/1.1lbs...

do not go below a BMI of 16 and you will be fine!

also you can lose weight double as fast if you work out...

if somebody say you are starving yourself... it is not true unless you have gone more than 42days without food.
