Help its taking too long to get a 6 pack?!


Question: ok so ivee been doing 110 crunches 60 situps every day for the past 1 and a half month. i have 6%(got the info off the internet dont remember the site) im 15 5ft 10 and weigh133 pounds.i am hoping to have at least a 4 pack by june 08 because thats when summer starts. id like to know if will improve more because i have seen sort of an improvement because i lost 3 pound not much and when i lay back in a chair i can kinda see the 4 abs. i can fell them but it wont show in mirror. the information would be nice. or comment your thought any things good

ok so it sounds like your getting bored of doing all the sit ups. mistake number 1: you have to enjoy your workout and think of the six pack as a consequence not an aim. sounds a bit like yoda talking but a good mentality is half the battle. now lets get into how to build a six pack and to do this you need to understand what your six pack muscles are there to do. they are support muscles for posture, and protect your abdominal organs. so you need to exercises that invlove working posture i.e. balance and exercises that work core strength muscles as a group rather then isolating just the abs, which will look better anyway! this means that you can do sit ups till you have turned every shade of pruple and blue that is possible, and your six pack will still be in hiding. one really good core strengthening exercise is leg raises. this is where you lie on your back and raise your legs and not your body. trust me it hurts. it also works the thighs. the other exercise is squats, again because your abs are postural muscles. also get an exercise ball, because these are great for working core strength. any exercsie you choose to do on one of them will be working your core. its no mystery that dancers and particualr break dancers have great abs so that would be my other bit of advice. take up an activity that works your core such as dancing, or even surfing. just google core strength exercises and you will find loads more you can do.

It takes A LOT of work and time to get those sexy abs you want. Keep working on it, you'te doing great! Hm, do you have a picture or something of your abs in that past. Compare them to your body now.

if you keep doing that then it will improve... but still everyday
