Is it possilbe that my skin prevents me from seeing results?!

Question: I exercise religiously and my legs look great but for some reason my stomach just cant show my efforts! It is hard but there is a layer of a dense skin overtop where my defined abs SHOULD be. lol. Is it possible that because of my skin that I cant see results? I dont have rolls either.

My mother also exercised a lot as a kid and now but cant get defined abs no matter how much cardio or ab exercises she did/does. Is it hereditary?

And every time I try to lose weight in an effort to try to get defined abs I look anorexic and my ribs pop out ( I have very large ribs).

Hey sorry to say but this is not possible. We all have different focous areas around our body where we like to distribute fat. Unfortunetly for women the belly is one of the first to gain fat and last to loose it. Basicly you could have 1% body fat on your legs and still keep some belly fat. The only way to loose it is be very strict with your dieting and exercise. Unfortunetly this is a very tough battle to overcome. The last 5% is alwae the toughest
